First elected for the Wilsden ward in 2004. He is a member of the Management and Strategic Policy Committee, Green Spaces Committee and the Community Engagement Committee .
He represents the Council on Bradford Council’s parish council liaison group. He is also a member of the Joint Executive Board of the Yorkshire Local Council Association and is the West Yorkshire representative to NALC.
