Wilsden Parish Council Vacancy for an Assistant Clerk:
This post would suit somebody who likes varied office work, pays attention to detail, has a willingness to learn and has an interest in Wilsden and Harecroft.
The principal duties are to support the administration of the Council through preparing documents for meetings, producing correspondence as directed, managing the website and usage, preparing news items for it and the Council’s Facebook page and Twitter account, upkeep of the notice board. Some training, both in-house and external training (remote) are necessary.
The Assistant Clerk’s work will mainly be based in the Contact Point office at Wilsden Village Hall; occasional evening work (clerking meetings) may be required.
Hours per week: 8
Salary is NJC Level 4
