Appointment of New Parish Council Clerk

You are here:

With effect from 5th December 2016, Gail Denham was appointed to the post of Clerk to Wilsden Parish Council.

 Gail Denham

Married to an artist and with two adult step-children who are London based, Gail has lived in Allerton for a long time and has in one way or another been familiar with Wilsden for many years.

 She said:

“Although I have no previous experience as a Parish Clerk, I do have lots of experience of office work and administration through a variety of roles and a decade of experience from self-employment.  For the last few years I have spent my time caring for my late mother alongside my sisters whilst studying at The Open University for a degree in Arts and Humanities.

I am genuinely delighted to join Wilsden and Harecroft Parish Council as their Clerk.  I believe that Parish Councils are uniquely democratic for the Councillors live all year round beside their constituents and this gives them a deeper understanding of the area’s needs.”

Gail will be generally available on Monday and Tuesday mornings at the Contact Point.  As this may vary please check first.  She can be contacted on 07875 635203 or via e-mail: gail.denham@wilsdenparishcouncil.gov.uk

The Parish Council welcomes Gail to her new role.
