The Royd House Trust

You are here:

The Royd House Trust was registered as a Charitable Trust in 1997 following the sale of Royd House, Barn and Garages. (Charity No 700025)

The Trustees for the Charity, Bradford M.D.C. have determined that a group be formed to distribute the income from the trust. The charitable purpose’s determines that the proceeds can be spent for the benefit of the residents of Wilsden.

The Trustees are inviting bids from Wilsden community organisations for financial support for projects that will strengthen the community and enhance the well-being of Wilsden residents and their environment.

Initial expressions of interest should be forward to the Clerk at Wilsden Parish Council Wilsden Village Hall, Townfield, Wilsden BD15 OHJ,  07384 713 156 or via email:  clerk@wilsdenparishcouncil.gov.uk

An application form and guidance notes will be then forwarded at a later date. The closing date is likely to be within the next two months but is still to be confirmed by Bradford Metropolitan District Council.

Applications will be considered on their merits by an Evaluation Group of the three Bingley Rural Ward Councillors and a Wilsden Parish councillor who will make their recommendations to the Trustees.  Please note that this is not a Wilsden Parish Council scheme and they are only acting as a “post box “.
