Logo launch ceremony
At a ceremony at Wilsden Village Hall on November 17th the Parish Council launched its new logo. This was designed by a team of pupils of Wilsden Primary School and was the winning entry in a competition among Year 6 pupils during June and July this year. The winning entry is proudly displayed at the head of our website.
The guests of honour at the launch ceremony were the winning team, Safiya Alaf, Rachel Capstick, Hannah Chadwick, Emily Drake and Jennifer Scott and their parents. We were also pleased to welcome the headteacher and some of the staff from Wilsden Primary School and the leader of Bradford Council, Cllr Margaret Eaton.
